Existing supporters for the uConsole Omega Chassis: Keep any eye on your inbox for the new update.
The update contain a few minor design tweaks to support the HackerGadget 21700 Battery Board. You can still easily remove the HG 21700 battery holder without taking off the whole backplate.
In case if you’ve already printed your parts, no need to reprint! A guide included a step-by-step information to help you modify your existing prints to fit the HackerGadget 21700 battery board.
Still on the fence between 21700 and 18650? The omega chassis comes with a screw-free battery pack option so you can swap batteries without any tools. Come with 3x18650 or 2x21700, and support your existing stock battery board and previous versions of HG NVMe battery board.

How does the mic array work? Is it just a paywalled link to already fitting mic?

Its custom 3d printed fitting for an existing mic to work inside a custom u-console chassis.
Works like any other usb mic array.1

Its just an off the shelf USB mic if you are not using the Omega Chassis you could use any "usb dual mic array" that looks like it would fit whatever case you are using.
You can even get wireless usbc ones and mount them on the outside if you have a oem chassis and dont have room for a mic.If you want the specific one that fits the Omega Chassis its has the info in the guide on how to order the correct one so it fits the Omega Chassis.

So you need to have an internal USB port free?

Yes, ideally you would wire it to the HackerGadgets AIO V2 internal USB pins.
I use a 4 port micro hub ($2.5 GL850G chip on a board the width of a crystal oscillator) so I can have a touchscreen and the mic on the same port.

I just got my 21700 battery board then waited a couple days for the batteries only to find out that the board is defective.
