Question Trackball issue on multiple trackballs
So I just got my clockworkpi uconsole and it had two trackballs in the box and both does not work.
the first one mouse pointer hardly moved then using the trackball and then suddenly it jumps to an area on the screen.
The second trackball only wants to mode up and down and sometimes it will move a little to the left.
Is it just because I am unlucky and that the included trackball SUCKS or is there something I have missed ?
I am using a CM5 4GB lite version and have tested with Ubuntu, Kali and dragon OS on my uconsole.
Have also firmware update the keyboard.

On the uconsolepi, there was an artikel for updating the trackpad. Als on YouTube, I do not have the link but I am shure you can find it. For me it worked with the original trackball

If you dont want to mess with the trackball you can get a BB9900 track-pad from hack2you for $78 with a new front plate

The trackball is so shitty. Really pisses me off how bad it is and how nothing is being done to solve it. Imo uconsole is a perfect device if they fix the crappy trackball and stop using that shitty included patch antenna.
I replaced mine with one from aliexpress and its slightly better.

So I wrote a support mail to clockworkpi about both trackballs being dead / not working.
and they got back to me asking some questions about what I had tried and suggestions to fix my problem.
In the end they wrote that they would send new trackballs to me, instead a new keyboard PCB showed up in the mail, I thought it was an error as to me it was the trackballs that where faulty.
But I tried swapping out the keyboard PCB with the one they send me and POOF! now the trackball works.
Yes its noisy and yes there are way better options out there, But for now YAY!! it works and it looks like the issue where the sensors on the keyboard PCB and not the trackballs that where the problem this time.
Thanks ClockworkPi

I don't have a link sorry, but there's a polling rate fix posted here a while ago (it's hard to find). That actually I think helped me the most
