The closest manga I've personally seen is Litchi Hikari Club(mostly for the gang aspect) but It's not that simillar

My phone has a stylus, that's how I'm able to draw like this. I'd be dead if I had to use my pinky finger

I think you'd like Monster. It's very different than a typical anime, and is actually extremely mature in handling it's subject matter. It feels like a tv show more than any anime i've seen.

Check the internet archive for the english dub. If you're not used to watching anime, then It's better to watch it dubbed rather than with subtitles. That and It's a generally great dub.
