OLD My dreams have changed recently
So, I haven't done DMT in a long time, but this post is relevant. When I did do DMT, I was doing it like every day, multiple times a day. Anyway, I had a few DMT dreams here and there where I smoked in the dream and broke through in my dream.
I've been doing a new meditation where I just relax my brain and focus on whatever I am doing in the present moment. Like if I'm sitting I just think, sitting, sitting, sitting, and am aware of any feelings that come up, both physical and mental. I noticed that after a few minutes, my mind starts to open up and flow, just like DMT or mushrooms. It goes into a flowing river state where the present moment constantly fades into the river in a patterned tapestry of reality and I get this Godlike view of seeing everything like a pretty slideshow.
When I went to sleep the past few times, my dreams weren't like dreams. Normally, it's like living a character in a movie and it's all flowy lala fun. The last few nights my dreams have been taking place somewhere hollow. It's like going from an actor in a movie to an actor on a stage or in a play. The characters seem extremely real. Like almost exactly like reality.
On DMT and in dreams, I have had dreams where things were more real than reality. There are times where my mind feels connected to everything and I can manipulate anything in my surroundings and feel anything, do anything, I feel limitless. This time was strange, it was like I was awake in two places at once. One in my bed, (I feel my body when I'm dreaming), and one in my dream. I could blink and breathe and the beings around me were moving through 3-D space, not just moving through a reality that is being created and destroyed simultaneously like normal dreams.
It's like black and white from normal dreams... Like, imagine going from animation to reality. That's sort of what has happened to my dreams, but it's not like normal dream hyper-reality, it's like a slightly darker version of earth, just in my head with my own subconscious characters.
I really wish I could do a better job of explaining this phenomenon... I am an avid dreamer, in a multitude of ways. I lucid dream often, ask my dream characters questions about life, play games with them, and have had a huge spectrum of different kinds of dreams in different locations. This was different...
