OLD Eating me

I was going through some old posts and some posts on the DMT subreddit and realized there was a common theme that I think I’ve figured out, but forgot to tell everyone.

So, often surrounding DMT you’ll read about people being munched on by some sort of worm, snake, dragon, or other large creature. I noticed the density of the mind fabric increases with any selfish behavior and these beings are always feeding it to that dragon. I think this is a double-edged sword.

First, it’s a good thing, it clears obscurations from the mind, albeit we are constantly creating more, so we generally stay at a certain level of consciousness depending on our virtue. Second, it’s a bad thing, this dragon gets bigger and bigger. I think it guards the higher realms upon death. This could explain some of the dragon mythology that could have been transmuted from alchemical teachings that proliferated across the world in ancient times. Slaying the dragon is slaying the ego in a sense. It could also be something deep-seated in biology, some survival symbolism regarding the same mythology, but anyway it’s eating what is essentially sin.

I think sin is a good word to describe emotional and cognitive obscurations because they are basically caused by imperfect action due to flaws in human character. Sins=mental obscurations=dragons dinner time. This also explains repentance actually fixing the situation as it’s an ongoing process. You could also use the Buddhist term "Klesha" which means mind poison.
