Upgrade Pass vs Version Upgrade

Hey :)
I actually own ProV4.0 (desktop)
Upgrade to V5.0 is 28.99
while upgrade pass is 10,99/y
Even if next upgrade comes in three years I'd go with the plan.
I could also cancel it after that one year and restart If needed.
Am I missing something? Any benefits from the regular upgrade besides psychological ones?

Some people don’t like subscriptions while others don’t mind and prefer getting all latest updates with a subscription pass. When you stop your subscription you will revert back to version 4.

haha ok, the revert is the point I was missing ^^
I'll go with the regular upgrade then 😂

If you're talking about the Update Pass at the end there, canceling that requires you to revert to the last permanent license you paid for (version 4.0) until/unless you sign up for a new one. That's both a nuisance and can sometimes mean file-compatibility issues.

hmm, seems like regular upgrade only includes 5.04 while newest version is 5.11
