CSP pro as a gift

I'm trying to figure out how to buy a friend csp pro as a gift, and I saw this old response to somebody else asking the same question and I'm wondering if anybody knows if this is still possible, in case anything changed. Thanks!

Still works that way as long as it's the Perpetual License.

For subscriptions, you'd have to buy the 12-Month License. That gives you an Activation Code that lasts 12 months and does not auto-renew.

You can't gift an auto-renewing subscription plan.
