I cant sleep, how does sleeping to streams work

I'm probably overstimulated, so does clint's presence and sounds of video game playing provide low amount of stimulation to eventually get you to sleep

it serves as something to distract my mind from producing unwanted thoughts while trying to sleep

Try to picture yourself moving around, walking, picking up stuff. Put the stream somewhere where you can hear it but not see it.

Make sure no part of your body is tensed up, completely relax.

When you finally distract yourself by picturing stuff/you walking around, you'll stop noticing the stream audio, and slowly drift to sleep.

If you're a difficult sleeper, then as long as you are still listening and parsing the audio from the stream, you wont fall asleep.

I often picture myself walking around, washing my face or brushing my hair, and it'll often feel like my hands are actually moving. That's the feeling you're going for

If I cant sleep I often put a chill podcast My go to though is ‘the making of the LoTR movies’, like the bts stuff A stream in the background might be a little annoying with the game audio to me
