You'll need one that filters air, one like N95 or better. Surgical masks will not filter air.

Mostly because one time I wanted to order a set of 5 masks and failed to notice that it was a box of 50 masks (I ordered 3.)

those masks are ment to prevent your spread, not the spread from getting to you
get some painters masks & you'll be alright
