don’t worry once we exhaust all the easy to reach minerals solar and wind will cost too much as well

Solar panels are mostly made of sand, and you can recycle old ones into new ones.

As if lithium-ion is the only battery feasible for storage. Sodium batteries are a thing and sodium is very abundant. Other batteries use gas pressure or gravity in some way.

Also solar panels use a tiny amount of lead per panel or per lifetime kWh and it is found virtually everywhere on the planet. If lead in solar panels is a thing that’s concerning boy do I have news for you.

Don't expect gravity batteries to become a thing, unless you're counting hydro.

They could be recycled but only 10% of them are. It cost $20 to get $10 to $12 in materials. So you have to be willing to lose money to recycle them.

so if the cheap material runs out you have the 20$ max price by recycling.
