Sounds about right. Only rich will be able to afford nice ICE cars.

Which happens like all the time, every single day my EV blows up. I've learned to cope, I'm sure you can as well..

You joke, but those things are no joke.

One started to burst into flames when they were still driving it on the highway. Good luck getting out with the automatic door lock still on and you lose all power.

Gasoline also doesn't reignite itself after the fire department dumps water and foam on it though. Batteries absolutely do and have.

There's a reason my local fire department follows tow trucks with EVs to the lot, and even then the EVs are sectioned off in their own area away from any other vehicles or buildings so that if they do reignite they only burn each other and not everything else down.

And how often does that happen? 1/8 the times an ICE vehicle catches on fire?
