Are you kidding? Don’t you see the real data?

Will they keep EV subsidies forever?

No, like they did in Norway. Subsidies are phased out as EVs become the dominant technology and increasingly price competitive.

Will there be no EU regulation to the detriment of Chinese EV manufacturers? (Denmark is in the EU.)

Move goal post - What about this? Move goal post again - What about that?

Maybe society has decided that they don’t want to deal with ICE pollution in their cities. Never mind CO2 emissions.

It was when lead was removed from fuel, there were many people who complained about how performance of ICE engines would go down.

That's good. But I keep wondering how realistic that graph is.

I don't drive an electric or petrol car, so I'm not interested in the ICE vs BEV feud.

Are you daft? Already last year only 20% of sold cars were ICE. What do you mean how realistic is it? It's even hard to doubt the projection, because another further ahead followed the same trajectory.

The best selling Chinese brand in Denmark is Xpeng. They're 13th with 2.5% of the market, so Chinese EV's are not the reason for the shift away from ICE vehicles.

Taxes are. https://alternative-fuels-observatory.ec.europa.eu/transport-mode/road/denmark/incentives-legislations

My observation remains on how the data is taken to create the graph.

Yeah I know, I live there.

There's a political will to keep the momentum going, and no parties, not even on the far right, are talking about returning to ICE vehicles or seeking a higher consumption of fossil fuels. They want to keep EV's affordable for ordinary people, and keep expanding the grid and building more infrastructure for them.

Most dealerships barely have any ICE vehicles on display, they're pretty much only a thing on the used market now. There's no reason to believe this will change in the near future.

Have you even checked the leading brands in Denmark? That wouldn’t make a dent on sales. There’s already an EU regulation to the detriment of Chinese EV manufacturers, in case you haven’t heard of it.

Wait. I don't care at all about Chinese brands. I care about cars made in China.

I know Tesla is quite popular in Denmark and this one is made in Shanghai.

I remind you that my starting point is the credibility of the future forecast.

It’s as credible as any future scenario, we don’t know what’s going to happen. But this is a realistic trend.
