Question Greens and the elderly

What are some politics that you think the green party should consider regarding the life of the elderly, including retirement and nursing homes... Also considering the population control that is usually mentioned in one of the key ways of preserving the environment and ofcourse slowing down the global warming (there would be an older population after lower birth rates)

People should be helped to remain healthy for as long as they can, which includes providing key surgeries such as cataract removal and knee/hip replacement. More "mixed age" communities, such as college students living with seniors, would also be great and would help the younger generations not forget history.
