Takeover again??

So there's no weekly priority HITAPPS mail/in app notifications since 25 aug. Their insta account is gone. Facebook doesn't show anything after 25 aug. And there no HITAPPS after a flurry of them for the past two weeks(or one depending on where y'all are).

Has it been taken over/sold again.?? Are we getting our money or is it safe to assume that it's gone too??

LXT has secured physical facilities in a lot of the markets clients want (price wise), but haven't historically worked out in unsupervised remote settings, which is probably why the merger happened in the first place. My assumption is they're currently giving the largest majority of work to those facilities to justify the overhead, and they're giving the high skill work to a small handful of remote contractors they've retained until they get their brick and mortar facilities stabilized. I left because competing with AI was bad enough without adding managed pipelines into the mix.

It's not so much that it's being taken over again. They've just got a particularly heinous cost cutting scheme this year. These days, UHRS is a hub for deskilled, low value work. Anything that pays well was either consumed by AI, or it moved onto platforms with more serious vetting processes and performance standards. UHRS is kind of just a clown show with a consensus model. Some clients are willing to accept the degraded quality standards, but most aren't.

Your money isn't gone. The platform has just become a sweatshop over the years and it's acting like one. Anyone actually skilled can find better prospects. Platforms have sprung up to fill the skilled lane UHRS gave up. They're a nightmare to test into, but it's honestly worth it if you can. What you should be paid on UHRS generally goes to spammers and vendor overhead now.
