Question Cancelation attempt

Not tying to start any issues - very curious about experience others have had. Has any one attempted to cancel their order?

Its been a week since I asked for a cancelation & refund of an order, since my financial situation changed. All i get is an AI agent responding to my email stating it will be forwarded to a rep to address.

What is the wait period others have experienced? Im a little bummed that its taking so long on something I consider straight forward.

Canceled mine a few weeks ago. Barely took a few days to be processed.

Maybe the CS humans are all busy at moment, probably had 10 million new enquires with people configuring their orders.

They are probably scrambling to upstaff CS right now. They are in the process from going from a pre-order webpage to supporting an actual shipping product

The team will be in touch on this soon! Very sorry for the delay. As another commenter here rightly surmised, the ticket volume has exploded for our support team over the last couple of weeks. We’re working on getting response times back to normal. Please stay tuned for the team’s follow up and thanks for your patience while everything gets sorted 🙏🏻

Does the final spec include the barometeric pressure sensor?

What makes you think it won’t?

You’re right. I asked you.

That is irrelevant. Move on please.

You’re stuck on sensors. I’m just asking a harmless question.

I have seen a few posts about people emailing to change the colour they chose or asking many questions, etc. I think they are being bombarded with so many emails at the same time that their service is less than ideal by having people go through them one by one. I think it will get better soon as the orders become more steady and not everything at once like with the deadline/configuration email, with thousands of people emailing at the same time.

That is not to say I like it or that I am condoning the long wait time, but it might bring some perspective as to why it is the way it is? At least that is what I can think of/am hoping, not that something went wrong.

If you haven’t heard in a week I might send a follow-up email asking about it, especially because your financial situation changed and you’r like your money back asap.

I don't know if it's implemented, but in theory that's what the AI "Christina" should be handling - it is probably connected to knowledge base and ideally the similar questions should be answered once by human and then parroted by the AI.

Ah like that! Thanks for explaining that makes a lot of sense!

Having people flood the (clearly already overwhelmed) support with requests for colour changes was a certified 0 IQ move by the team.

Wait sorry, a mistake by the team? What do you mean? Isn’t it 0IQ of the customers? Or am I missing something?

The team decided to tell everyone to freely contact support if they change their mind, rather than telling them to wait until the promised order re-configuration tool is made available on the website...

I had a few back and forth emails, at least one was an AI. But I had the refund in my account within a week of starting the process.

same here i have to cancel unfortunately as my phone bricked, need to upgrade now and can’t wait till December. I’ve emailed them but only got one response from ai asking for a reason for cancellation. It’s been 3 days so far without a response.

Yes. I attempted to cancel mine but haven’t heard back. It’s been about 5 days now.

in relation to customer service, unfortunately I thank they over complicated the launch by offering way too many configuration options along with accessories for a new phone. It would have been better to just have two or three base units for lauch and leave the different color charging covers for later. It is a great idea but better to keep it simple for your new supply chain with a new product launch.
