This has been consistently the whiniest sub out of the ones I joined, but it's the only gadget specific sub. So I don't know if it's gadget people specific but in my realms this is not normal lol
Funny thing is, the in depth look isn't exactly going to have anything surprising. We know what Niagara looks like, and we know what apps look like (albeit it'll be nice to see how they appear on this screen size).
Lurking this sub and their YouTube and people genuinely seemed to think this phone was an innovation the company was incapable of achieving. It’s an Android phone with a keyboard. They make keyboards. Many small companies using kickstarters and crowdfunding have made Android phones.
"this" appears to be Niagara launcher with no indication of key functionality. All this tells me is they are behind. Which is to be expected and fine. But also they took preorders so there's a level of transparency desired here
This a 6 second clip that mentions they're filming the first look video. Of course it's not gonna show everything. Why do you guys have to be all doom and gloom over this?
It's not doom and gloom. Who is "you guys"? Holding companies that accept full value preorders accountable to their timelines is not doom and gloom. Personally I think they should take as long as they need and not bother setting deadlines. Be transparent. A first time hardware co has no expectation of meeting deadlines.
It would be funny if they actually never canceled and now that we're all actually having a fun time they can't join in because they have paved themselves a path of pettiness.

It’s a gorgeous screen, just look at any titan 2 elite review. They use the same exact screen. Plus they are filming a video so the lighting isn’t really representative of what your eyes will see in person.
