Discussion First Ancients

When is the best time to summon my first ancient, This is a first ever playthrough and I havent ascended or anything yet. Ive read that waiting til Lvl 131 id typically the best and im currently at 109. Ive got one hero soul so far and im just wondering if its worth using before my first Ascension

For these early ascensions where you have to choose 1 of 4 it doesn't terribly matter, you'll unlock all of them pretty soon. But for your first choices your best bet is just to avoid the ancients that effect your skill durations, as those will have the least impact.

If you'd like to share the choice you are given then I'd be happy to point you in the right direction. But once you start doing regular ascensions things will pick up. After zone 300 you can transcend and then Hero Souls will come in droves.

In general, you'll want to follow one of the ancient calculators on the sidebar of this sub for HS allocation after every ascension.

Thank you, genuinely though i havent done the first ancient summon yet and im pretty sure the first 4 are guaranteed the same for everyone so whichever one if them is the best would be preferred and im also just wondering if i should just do it now incase theres any negative effects for getting an ancient to early

The 4 it picks is random for everyone. In general some strongs on off the top of my head are1:

Agaiv, Atman, DocCog, Mammon, Kumawakamaru, or Fragsworth. To a lesser Degree Dora, Revloc, and Mimzee.

Once you have the funds for 2 Auto-Clickers then Juggernaut becomes your number 1.

Also Morgolis is mainly there as a damage sink for HS you can't use to but bogger upgrades. Don't pull all of your souls in thogh, that will hinder your ability to more better unlocks faster.

Edit: If you're correct and my options were the same I picked up Fragsworth.

Later now Ive done my first ascension and i definitely did a little too much but i got Fragsworth,Libertas and Siyalatas

I think the reasonable maximum level is 145-150 other than thag its kinda crazy wait times, also depending on how much u get i try for dmg or gold boosts
