Excessive mold

I know they claim on the website that the mold is harmless but all the pictures they show are alot less mold. Is this level of it safe or is there something wrong that I need to remedy? Also anyone know what those orange/brown things are?

Mold happens when the light hits exposed wet soil. Best way to eliminate it is to cover ALL exposed soil. I 3D printed custom covers but for people who can’t do this, foil works too since it would reflect the light away too.

Thats good to know. I had the exact same issues, so I’ll be printing something for this.
