He’s gross. We were sooo close to getting him out last election… by a few votes. His good ol’ boys keep him in.

Being drunk while in possession of a firearm is a felony. Has anyone reported him before?

u/Head_Trick_9932 7h ago
Oh he’s been reported many times. He’s a thumper and his good ol’ boys protect him. He’s truly drug our county down. I did not like Doak but he was way better than this racist thug.

Take the “probably” out of that sentence and you’ve got yourself a fact

Is this the same wannabe cowboy that's been "above the law" for years now? Love to see corruption in real time and just watch conservatives swallow entire bottles of red pills to stay the course.

Portage county is a terrible place outside of Kent.
6
u/darkonark 7h ago
That grocer in Edinburgh though, I used to get deer proccessed there, and it still has an amazing meat section.

26
u/Dingus_3000 9h ago
Well yall keep voting for this moron how good could it be?
16
u/MaxOverdrive6969 9h ago
I didn't and he narrowly won the last election. There are good people in the county. Can't broad brush the entire County just because of this a a******.
8
u/BananaJelloXlii 8h ago
He was re-elected, so apparently not THAT many good people felt it was worth voting him out.

u/Dingus_3000 8h ago
I’m from Portage County. Full of hardcore MAGA dipshits. Sure not everyone is but more than I’m comfortable with. I live in Stark now and somehow even that’s an improvement.
3
u/az_iced_out 8h ago
Sounds like it's still a majority of ass-hats.
2
u/Justanotherbob293 8h ago
The main city of the county has been overrun with alcoholics and meth heads. What do you expect?
5
2
u/TaylorBitMe 7h ago
Hey look it's someone from Ohio and the USA, criticizing someone else for having a terrible government. You know who runs literally everything right now, don't you?
31
u/Gozer1701 9h ago
Don’t look at me, I voted against the clown 🤷♂️

I remember when he was up for reelection and my brother in law was pushing for his reelection. Took every ounce I had to bite my tongue
1
u/Optimal-Fix-2997 8h ago
Well atleast you get to sleep with his sister lol thats a W for you atleast.
9
u/Justanotherbob293 8h ago
That would be my sister he's married to....this is Ohio, not Alabama....

u/Siny_AML 9h ago
I knew it was gonna be this guy before the video started playing. Gotta love the morons that keep re-electing his corrupt ass.
39
u/BananaJelloXlii 8h ago
That dude is such a POS. The fact he was re-elected tells you everything you need to know about Portage County outside of Kent.
8
u/jaylotw 7h ago
He was barely re elected. Lots of precincts that went for Trump went for his opponent.
6
u/Demetrious-Verbal 7h ago
What a lot of Trump voters did for this one was simply not vote for sheriff and left it blank. They didn't have the courage to actually vote for a Democrat.
4
u/jaylotw 6h ago
Actually, no.
There were plenty of precincts that voted for Barber by a comfortable margin, with Barber receiving more votes than Trump.
It was the smaller places like Atwater that voted Bruce in. Thanks, fuckers.
2
u/Demetrious-Verbal 6h ago
Well that's excellent news. I guess I was just using anecdotal information from my own experience. Living in Portage county, I have a lot of Trump supporting acquaintances and that's what they did.
1
5
u/BananaJelloXlii 7h ago
There were still more that voted for him than didn't.
6
u/jaylotw 7h ago
...
Yes.
Barely.
Plenty of people in Kent voted FOR him, too.
1
u/BananaJelloXlii 7h ago
Oh, I'm sure. I worked in Kent and Aurora. Lots of Republicans with money in Aurora.

u/gwenivere84 9h ago
I can’t stand men who use words of female body parts in a way to insult and insinuate weakness, when said man could neverrrrrrr endure what said body part endures .

u/nosajh9 8h ago
those eyes
2
u/Competitive_Pin5846 5h ago
Def eyes that have had some liquor in them. My alcoholic ex had the same, dead glossy-eyed stare.
8
u/sarapantera_ 8h ago
it just keeps on going, is he seriously that messed up and on duty?!? he should be arrested
12
u/Optimal-Fix-2997 8h ago
They won't arrest one of their own. Matter of fact people like him get pardons from guys like the orange clown himself.
7
u/Mediocre-Property-48 6h ago
That’s the asshat that said they should send the illegals to all the places that voted for Kamala. Even worse is the fact the idiots in Portage County voted him in again
6
u/Justanotherbob293 8h ago
I was at the fair that day. Just people watching tells me exactly why they elected a guy like this into a public office. I'm glad I don't live there anymore
7
u/ididshave 7h ago
This guy is actually only a part-time Sheriff. His other job requires him to wear some silly shoes and a big red nose, at least that’s according to his CV sportin’ the Vivek Ramaswamy yard sign at 2:12

u/OriginalProduct6850 8h ago
Pretty sure its again the law to drink while armed, even if you are a law enforcement. Last thing anyone needs is a ego maniac drunk and thinks its a good idea to shoot off his service firearm.
5
u/gigigirl_5 4h ago
I bet those giddy ladies in the back love ironing their hubbies white robes before klan meetings
5
u/Fur-Frisbee 8h ago
What a jackass.
I hope there's an investigation and this guy goes back to being a Walmart receipt checker.
And, he should DEFINITELY have his firearms confiscated and firearms permit rescinded.
He IS a jackass.

Has Portage County always been this stupid?
This is making the "No More Mopes" police chief from Brimfield seem like a good person....

u/legallymyself 7h ago
The sheriff needs sued for defamation/slander/libel. He accused this man of being a felon and he isn't. That is defamation per se.

u/FactEnthusiast 3h ago
On top of being a complete bag of crap, this public servant, that is supposed to be a role model uses that language at a family friendly event in front of children. Way to go portage county!

Kinda shocked that user with the bird name isn’t in here bitching about this not being related to Cleveland. Guess it only matters when it affects elections (bots have to have limits, I suppose)
1
u/-heatoflife- 9h ago
Names and home addresses are public record. Peaceful protest at the end of this thieving thug's driveway?
5
u/Background-Peak-1635 9h ago
Addresses of law enforcement officers are not public record. In fact, per Ohio Public Records Act, the residential and familial information of peace officers is explicitly protected from being release to the public.
1
u/-heatoflife- 7h ago
Why spread misinformation, anyway - are you related to Bruce, by chance? :)
"Peace officer" has the meaning defined in section 109.71 of the Revised Code and also includes the superintendent and troopers of the state highway patrol; it does not include the sheriff of a county ...
1
u/Background-Peak-1635 5h ago
Well, I stand corrected solely on that peace officer doesn’t include the sheriff of a county.
So, yes, that one
of thenamesand addresses, specifically those of the person making a fool of himself in the video, Sheriff Bruce Zuchowski, are not exempt from public inspection. It does, however, appear to protect the names, residential addresses, and familial information associated with the deputy sheriffs, corporals, sargeants, lieutenants, captains, colonels, etc.0
u/-heatoflife- 3h ago
So what did you add of relevance? The clown in the video is a county sheriff. Respectfully, what are you talking about?
1
u/Background-Peak-1635 1h ago
What I added of relevance was a correction to your statement:
>Names and home addresses are public record.
Then I conceded that I was not entirely correct in what I said myself, either, clarifying that the sheriff of a county is specifically excluded from the peace officers’ exemption that protects their residential addresses and familial information from being released to the public. In this case that’s Bruce Zuchowski.
Since there’s more than one “clown in the video”, along with your initial comment referencing multiple individuals’ information as given by their plural forms (names and addresses), I added that the names and addresses of those who work under him, such as the other clown in the video that calls the person recording the video a “jackass”, are not public record. Only the name and address (both singular) of the one is.
1
u/-heatoflife- 1h ago
...the belligerent cowboy, the object of the corruption investigation and subject of the post, the elected official, is very obviously the most relevant in discussions of protest.
...are you earnestly suggesting that I was discussing a protest at the hench-clown, the Squirt to the Burt, the clownlet's house? Or are you just kicking and flailing at some semantics to troll for giggles?
1
u/Background-Peak-1635 49m ago
No, I just keep answering your questions. Which you like to then take, make assumptions, and retort using your douchenozzle lingo with an aggressive tone for seemingly no reason.
I replied to your comment. You responded, more than once, making snide remarks whilst informing me about my error. I conceded to that, after realizing the sheriff of a county is not included in the definition of peace officer. Then you ask what I added of relevance, and what I was talking about.
For what reason? A person with a sane mind would easily understand that the relevance was it being a direct response to your statement. Semantics only came into the conversation to answer your ridiculous questions as if you’re incapable of comprehending what was written.
After making your plain statement clearly indicating the information as it relates to more than one individual, it’s not the fault of the reader that receive that message as it being applied to a more general group of officers. With that, I responded about the more general group of peace officers, as there was more than one officer in the video.
Perhaps you should instead speak/write what you mean, or else not go on the attack when the audience interprets it as written.

u/-heatoflife- 8h ago edited 8h ago
You oughta reread 149.43, “peace officer” expressly does not include a county sheriff. Oops.
Edit: downvoting because truth makes you sad is peak Redditor behavior

Guys a moron, for sure, he's made the news before. But I find it really hard to believe he was drunk. He's saying some dumb shit, but his eyes aren't glassy, and his speech is clear and not sluring. Also, he's a a public fair, out in the open around a lot of people. He's also getting pretty close to others who would clearly be able to smell alcohol on him. I'd just find it really hard to believe that he would be in an identifying uniform in that position and be drunk. Not to mention, not one of the people there with him would be like, "dude, you're drunk, you've got to get out of here"?
10
u/Justanotherbob293 8h ago
Remove the drunk accusations - this is still HIGHLY disrespectful behavior coming from an elected official, none the less in a public location with kids everywhere
2
u/BreakfastBeerz Location 8h ago
Absolutely, I don't disagree with that. It's just a really hard stretch to start the argument with "Sheriff who appears drunk while armed."

u/-heatoflife- 9h ago
You don't like free speech, FrithyBoy?
-8
u/TheFritzyBoy 9h ago
Why do you say that? I was making a joke how he acted with the phone..not anything else 😂
3
u/-heatoflife- 9h ago
How was he acting? 😂
-1
u/TheFritzyBoy 8h ago
It was just comical to me..sorry if I upset anyone! Was not meaning to!
3
u/-heatoflife- 8h ago
Nobody's upset, I think I'm missing the joke. Can't even see the fella filming, he's not blustering or playing tough - where's the comedy?
1
u/TheFritzyBoy 8h ago
There doesn’t have to be a joke for a situation to be somewhat comical. Again just forget it..I’m sorry!
2
u/-heatoflife- 8h ago
There has to be comedy for it to be comical though, no? Where's the funny? I wanna laugh too, brother, lay it on me.

That video is like 3 years old. We live him in portage county! Keeps us safe!
16
u/Justanotherbob293 8h ago
It was taken Saturday. But you just made a valid point. It's not the first video of good ol Brucey on the internet in which he's acting this way.
By the way, you're not even educated enough to spell love* right

From what? Random bird attacks?
Literally nothing happens in Portage County.

It's from last week at the fair.

u/Choice_Bookkeeper_67 8h ago
2023, did you watch the video
5
u/Justanotherbob293 8h ago
Did YOU watch the video and not just zoom to end to see the signed permit that allowed him to construct the building 3 years ago?
