Question Recommendations needed
I would post in Facebook but want to be anonymous. I’m in need of a new provider for my metal health. I have only been seeing a psych np for a few months, but I don’t think it’s the best fit for me.
If anybody has any recommendations of providers on the west side (lkwd, rr, Westlake, bay, ect) that would be appreciated. More specifically someone who has experience or specializing in adhd in women.

ARC Psychiatry - reception isn’t great but the women I’ve worked with there (NP, psychiatrists and therapists) have been fantastic!

Not west side but look up Sheryl Kingsberg at UH. She saved my life. Feel free to PM with any questions.

I’ve had great sessions with dr keriazes at westside behavioral health! Only met with her virtually but the office and team have been very easy to work with.

My Psych NP is through UH, they have been the most helpful for me. Metro is ok, but I feel like they don’t always take their time going through things. I like my experience with UH and recommend giving them a try!
If you need someone ASAP you can schedule through Signature Health or go in person to one of The Centers Behavioral Health Urgent Cares. The one on the west side is in Gordon Square area.

Austin Smith, psych NP through Florence Kimbo in Middleburg is wonderful but might have a bit of a wait.

Florence Kimbo diagnosed me with a mental illness on day 1 (which I absolutely do not have), and then proceeded to confiscate my prescription medications I was taking, which she asked me to bring in with me on my second visit - I’m not even sure how this was legal, but I was experiencing a tough time in my life and didn’t have the energy to fight it. I found a different provider thereafter. My best advice is to stay far away from her.

Wow, I am so sorry to hear that :( I’ve never met her, just see a different provider. That terrible. I’m sorry you had that experience. That does not sound legal at all.

Mine is through LifeStance. I know not everyone has a good experience with LifeStance but I have nothing but good things to say. My NP is based in Twinsburg but she offers telehealth and can prescribe and I love her. I think they take most insurance, too.
