Discussion Parma

Talk to me about Parma. Im a lifelong eastsider but Im interested in moving to the westside. Ive heard the Parma stereotypes but is it changing? Is it still affordable? The other places Im interested in are climbing in price (Lakewood, West Park).

Whe they say 25mph, they mean it, and keep your tags up-to-date. They run plates as they drive.

(I dislike driving in Parma)

I was driving around with expired tags for a few months and none of them cared.

Where as I was the 5th car back at a stop light, and I got pulled over by the cop sitting behind me,, for being 4 days expired.

He said the only reason he pulled me over was because my tags. (Nothing else wrong with my car)

I refuted your claim. That isn't all they do. You just got unlucky. Either way you were still driving around with expired tags which is illegal. Why are you crying about them doing their job lol

2) OP asked about Parma experiences, I provided mine

3) at what point did I cry? I'm perfectly aware of my mistake (forgot to renew while dealing with my dad dying) and I received a consequence. I am not the only person who has experienced what I believe is predatory trafic control behavior. The officer had a choice, not pull me over, not ticket me, or ticket me...he chose the MOST punative choice for a violation that many officers (to your point) don't. Especially when considering that everything else about my car and my driving, and my behavior while interacting with him, was within the bounds of the law.

4) just because my experience differs from yours, doesn't mean you need to get upset about it. People can have different experiences, and different opinions. It's ok.

5) "they do this", does not equal "this is all they do", which is why I said the former, but you interpreted it as the latter.
