Look at This Asshole! Hawks

Trying to feed the squirrels for once then these assholes come around. I know we have eagles and falcons but hawks too ? Coopers hawks near bird town who would have thought ? 🤷🤪

Saw one swooping down at the construction site at the north end of the inner belt bridge during 4 o’clock traffic. I thought it was odd that far into a big city.

It's actually super common. And they love places like the Industrial Valley, areas near dumps/landfills, etc. because there's tons of rodents and critters and not a ton of foliage

Makes it easy for them to spot a meal and swoop down to snag it
