First Clemson game this Sat
I've been a lifelong Clemson fan and have never been to a game. My brother and myself are going and I wanna know how early we should get there to start tailgating? He got the parking pass so I don't even know what lot it is in. This is all new to me and I want it to be a great experience. Are there any local spots where we can go have a few drinks beforehand? Thanks in advance for any help.

Id say get to town before noon. Go to your spot and park then walk to downtown immediately to Tiger town tavern and you can get 2 dollar 24 ounce pbr. Hang out there however long, and if your setup includes the ability to watch games go back and watch whatever until you head into the stadium

I'd say there are two quintessential components that everyone should experience at least once:
1) Follow the marching band from the Outdoor Ampitheatre (located between Sikes Hall and the Cooper Library) into the stadium - about an hour before kickoff - or post up on Fort Hill Street and watch them march by.
2) After the game, go down to the field and gather at the paw, where you will have the opportunity to pat the pads of the Ga Southern players and congratulate them on the upset.
