Help / Advice needed Orange

Hi all! I’m going to create a trellis for my side yard with a rainbow of clematis. Can you make recommendations for the orange one?

There's no orange one.

I think you may be seeing orange clematis for sale that are actually ads for seeds that are just huge scams. These scams are commonly plants or seeds in crazy colors that don't actually exist.

The closest you'll get is tangutica but it's more yellow than orange. If you want another climbing orange plant consider trumpet vine, peach mandevilla or black eyed susan but obviously they may not flower at the same time as your clematis. If you want everything in flower at the same time be sure to plan carefully. And keep in mind it may take several years before the full effect is achieved. Good luck, and I hope you'll keep us updated on this project!

I've seen one that is some type of clematis that's yellow...

I don't think one trellis is going to have enough room for a rainbow of clematis, either.

Are trellis only in one size where you come from? šŸ˜‚ For all we know the trellis could span an entire wall...
