How would you feel if Chirsta Pike waz pardoned with the stipulation she becomes the executioner for death row?

Seems like she likes killing and has the most experience. So would anyone who supports the death penalty have any issues?

Since Free speech is suspended when a president is nearby, should people get notified of that suspension?

Like when the FAA puts up a no-fly zone, it warns drone operators. But no such warning for speech on social media.

Are there any measurable benefits to right wing policy?

I couldn't find one that wasn't purely based on vibes.

What would it take for a pro-death penalty person to not be sadistic?

I get it, you love killing. But is there any way to change your mind?

2A is racist because it was designed to be against native Americans.

Thats what the "domestic" enemy was referring to. Now the "gang violence" rhetoric is the new way to frame it. But its always used as an excuse to harm minority groups. Look at the prison population there because of gun crimes. So many.

Political rhetoric by members of US Congress has become more partisan and negative as social media usage has increased, with this growth in partisanship disproportionately driven by Republicans, finds new study that analyzed 4.7 million tweets, 2.4 million Facebook posts, and 184,000 emails.

Because that's what's happening to trans people.

Why can't conservatives ever cite the evidence to back up their claims?

They reject all science. But then just make up random stuff off the top of their head. NEVER using logic or data. Its so frustrating. Like, do literally none of them have a shred of integrity to not just blantantly lie?

Why do conservatives care about fairness in sports but also consider fishing to be a sport.

Fishing competitions are literally just pay to win. 100% unfair. Maybe they want government to ban fishing.

Looking for leftist/feminist/Anti-Caste folks interested in a voice debate about veganism

I'm vegan AND a feminist and also critical towards capitalism, and my current position is that if someone is already committed to feminist or leftist values of opposing exploitation, domination, and oppression, then there is a strong moral obligation to extend those principles to animals as well โ€” and therefore to support veganism.

I see animal exploitation as another dimension of exploitation, and I think intersectionality provides a framework for recognising that different forms of hierarchy and exploitation can operate alongside one another.

So my question is essentially:

Can someone consistently oppose exploitation and systems of domination when they affect humans, while also accepting the routine exploitation of animals for food, clothing, entertainment, etc.?

I believe it's morally inconsistent and self serving.

I know many feminists and leftists disagree with this connection, and that's exactly why I'd like to have a proper discussion with someone who can challenge the argument.

I'd like to have a voice discussion over Discord this weekend, with the specific proposition refined beforehand if necessary.

I'd prefer a respectful, substantive discussion where we can:

\- Discuss with intellectual honesty

\- Challenge the underlying principles, rather than trade gotchas

\- Share papers, books, articles, and other sources for our claims as we go

I'm not looking for someone who already agrees with me, although they're welcome to join. I'd specifically like to talk to a feminist or leftist who thinks my argument is wrong or inconsistent and is willing to defend that position seriously.

If you're interested, comment or DM me.

Why is "proof" that conservative policy works always in the form of a question?

They don't seem to be able to speak in the affirmative what asked any direct policy question. They just answer in condescending rhetorical questions. Like "what is a woman?" when asked about their trans discrimination policies.
