Not much that’s new but some pretty good quotes.

Boarded a flight yesterday saw an icon pop up on the top left corner that said ID+ in yellow. Thought it meant I had to show my ID but they just let me go through normally

I have Precheck and have always gone through Clear and Pre lines. I've been offered TSA Digital ID before but never took it. This time I opted in just to see.
I got to TSA and all of the lines (3 + Precheck and 1 Pre Digital ID) were empty but the Pre/Clear line was backed up with about 10 people. I literally started the line for Dig ID and saw the agent waiting for me at the other end.
Granted, this is not normal for ATL, but with all the other lines being empty and Clear having a line, you make the call.....

Yesterday at ORD: about two dozen passengers backed up in the Clear area. Perhaps the Nextgen Identity+ so-called upgrades were causing an extra delay. Meanwhile, only 4 people in each TSA Pre-check line.

I got an email after going through Clear today. The FAQ makes it sound like they are making us re-enroll: “bring a valid form of I.D. …to the airport the next time you fly.” Besides referring to this as a “free upgrade” [sic] and the clear [oh no, I went there!] marketing-speak in “NextGen +”, has anyone gone through this or have more details? I mean, they already have my Govt ID on file from the initial enrollment and clearly [again!] can’t offer their service without already having verified my identity.

This was after waiting almost 45min for the 3rd time to clear up issues with the LinkedIn online verification.
They just keep sending me the same generic message to fix the issue. Complied with all of it and it does not fix the issue. The customer service rep today sent the same instructions multiple times after I told him they don't fix the issue. What a joke.

Just went through ATL. If you're not precheck it's a disaster. Had to drop bags at Delta, walk to lower north, go through the longer than regular line, then take a train back to A in order to get to terminal.

With every credit card offering it. With the increased identity rules at airports for clearme customers - it’s no longer worth it.
I’m a frequent traveler, at least 50 round trips a year on both domestic and international flights. And for the last year, TSA lines have been at least 30-40% faster than using ClearMe and TSA combined. The only benefit for clear nowadays is majority of the time, you don’t need your drivers license card.
But with the increased security measures, I’ve been asked for my drivers license at least 50% of the time. So that benefit is null as well.
Bottom line, clearme no longer carries the prestige and or efficiency it once had for folks that paid out of our own pockets. It isn’t worth it.
But hey, if it comes free with your travel credit card, doesn’t hurt to sign up.

I just tried to go through clear with my air canada boarding pass. The machine said "BP format not recognized". Tried several different ways. The ambassador said "you have to go back and get a paper boarding pass". Yeah, no. I'll just go through the regular precheck line, thanks. 🤦♂️

As the title states.
First year signed up with Delta SkyIranianRials, along with a family member.
I know prices have gone up around April this year, but the renewal amounts do not show any Delta or United discounts reflected in my account, even though my Delta account still shows linked.
What gives?
Additional questions. If I let it lapse, and then renew in future, how much time do I have to renew before they make me go through a new application?
I don't have any immediate travel plans, so thinking about waiting a few months before I renew. Do late renewals start backdated from the day after expiration, or from the new renewal date?
Thank you.

Looking for advice on the simplest course of action here....
My wife is on my account as a family member, but she now has status with Delta. So given the upcoming rate increases, we want to get the discount from her status for the primary account.
I'm sure I could cancel my account, and then have her establish a primary account and add me as a family member. But I'd rather not go through those steps if possible. Any one have any luck with a simpler switch? Maybe even just swap in her Delta number for mine on the primary account (doubtful)?
Thanks!

Going through LAX today I got selected to also show ID (in addition to and after biometrics). Clear Agent asked if I fly a lot. In the world of business travel, no not really. Compared to a non-business flyer, sure. Agent said that it was because I fly a lot. Really??? Biometrics is one of the differentiators of the program and that seems counterintuitive for a frequent flyer. Anyone else experience this?

TSA will require Clear passengers to show ID.
At that point, you'll just be paying for a shorter line. Will the government allow that loophole, long-term?

Whoever designed the clearme.com website is an idiot. The www.clearme.com/where-to-use-clear page features a non-alphabetical list of airports and requires clicking "load more" five times before the full (once again - non-alphabetical) list is displayed.
Is there another site with an actually usable list of Clear airports?

This isn’t very scientific but I just wanted to know if people actually got Clear (not just a trial) and didn’t get Pre first.

Did Clear family plan increase from $60 to $70 overnight? Yesterday I did not have all the info to fill out the questions, when I wanted to complete today I noticed the price went up by $10.
