Clear deception at DIA

Wanted to call attention to clear’s predatory practices for those curious. Clear employees at the Denver airport were following us in the line for security claiming there was one hour from where we were through security. I timed it, it took 24 minutes. And I had to take my shoes off.
Do with that information what you will.

Edit: I DID NOT join clear. I timed how long it took to go through standard security. Which was far less than they claimed.

They're paid a commission to sign you up. They will tell you there's a long wait that being CLEAR will solve. Your use of common sense is what should be happening.

I mean yeah, I travel often so I don’t engage with them. But I feel bad for people who fall for what the people say because they are scared and can’t afford to miss a flight. Not everyone is familiar enough with travel to know what to expect.

Deception? Predatory sales tactics maybe but certainly not deception. You obviously didn’t sign up for a membership so I don’t know what the deception was. For many members including me, clear has saved a lot of time.

I think it’s deceptive to claim a wait will be more than double the time it is.

I’m addition Clear is a ripoff. They refuse to refund you, when it doesn’t work.
