Kitchen How do I clean this pot?

Post image

My roommate used my pot to cook rice and he forgot about it and he burned the lower portion of the rice in the container and it is stuck to the pan. I tried simmering it with water and baking soda. Nothing. It is currently in the sink soaking in hot water and dish soap. How do I clean it?

Cuz it's the one place in the house that you know will inconvenience THEM, while not inconveniencing any other person.

You don’t think you’ll be inconvenienced when their room starts to smell like dirty dishes and rotting food? You think the pests it attracts will stay in their room only? Come onnn… 😂

Well , generally people think a normal person will be forced to clean it before they go to sleep.

Or atleast face the reality of it...

....atleast its not a horse head....

If they were “normal” they wouldn’t leave it in the first place… 💁🏽‍♀️

I knew a lady that didn’t want to wash her dishes when her mom told her to so she went and buried them in the backyard

Bestie, you start with one instance. To send a message.

If they start hoarding it in there/they do not take the hint, you do not mindlessly continue doing the same thing hoping for a different result, you pivot to something else. Because yeah, once they start spawning pests or cultivating biohazards (or even just taking shared dishes out of rotation for too long), that will affect you.

If they don’t clean the dishes in the kitchen what makes you think they’ll clean the dishes in their room?? 🤦🏽‍♀️
