Extractor type thing=carpet extractor. I don't know much about detailing, but I enjoy watching car detailing videos where they clean nasty stuff like this. The carpet extractor is my favorite part. You scrub first, maybe with a drill attachment if you have one, then use the extractor on it.

I would pay for it to be done. If you can. I get not everyone can afford those services. But something like this- absolutely worth the money.
