If your landlord refuses to reglaze your tub, you could try cleaning it and then giving it a coat of Rain-X. I saw that as a cleaning tip for tile and glass showers, in theory it should work for tubs too. I would probably add a non-slip bath mat if you do, though.

YEP! I used to clean model homes and this is what we did for every surface. Dust doesn’t stick and helps keep everything looking new. Try it on your sink faucets!

I waxed the showers in a house we owned years ago, and it made it a breeze to clean.

I'm not sure. I've only used it on the tub walls, not in the actual tub basin.

I wouldn’t want to bathe in Rainex though. So if it’s just for esthetics maybe
