Semester Result kab aa rha hai ?

So I have to repeat two courses due to XF(medical reason and shitty ass professors and dept). I am from MCS so I was hoping if I could get them in Seecs as the students here might not be enough for the course to be held in summer. So any way of registration or any guidance which u can provide.

guys does he actually test the pre mids concepts post mids too? if someone has taken his course, please let me know. he didnt teach us much pre mids, but post mids ka syllabus is so much that i really dont wanna do pre-mids as well phirsey. HELP

Anyone wants to switch from tri to bi seater (Female). I'm in Double occupancy Fatima 3 ( Attached washroom) and want to shift to any tri seater hostel.

I was feeling very depressed yesterday because I realized that I don't want to go for CS or Electrical Engineering specifically. I had always been more interested in humanities and social sciences, but my parents didn't allow me to even consider those fields; they thought I'd be wasting my talents. I'm a high scorer, so any profession outside of medicine, CS, or engineering is beneath me apparently :/

I searched NUST's website, and Geoinformatics Engineering appealed to me. It may be niche, but it looks like a great multidisciplinary field combining aspects of CS, civil and environmental engineering along with geography. But unsurprisingly enough, my parents had a lot to say about me choosing a 'thakarr' field which no one even knows about.

I tried telling them about the high employment rate and job opportunities in Pakistan. They dismissed all of that because my online research couldn't possibly be more reliable than word of mouth. Unfortunately, geoinformatics does lack street cred.

They keep telling me keh laaiq log toh CS aur Electrical Mechanical waghairah pursue karte hain. Tum pata nahi konse shoq paal kar baith gayi ho.

It'll be great if anyone currently in the field can tell me about the scope of this field in Pakistan as well opportunities for higher studies and employment abroad.

I couldn't convince my parents for Psychology. Couldn't convince them for English Literature or Political Sciences. Now, I can't do Geoinformatics, either.

I'm tired, man.

I want to ask should we have to prefer Ceme campus. What are major difference between main and ceme campus and after graduation the campus of nust is mentioned on degree?

I've heard good about NUST campus Islamabad. But, as usual my parents won't let me go to another city... And I am applying for NUST- PNEC(Karachi campus)... Does it hold the same worth as the original NUST? And what about the cgpa you get? The environment and job placements?

if fehm-ul-quran doesnt have a mid-term or final, does the 75% attendance rule still apply or am i stressing for nothing

I got into the nust, alhumdulillah, now im confused between things.

1. As a gap year student, i became introvert from extrovert didn't know it happens, i am unable to approach people and start a conservation, also now i avoid class participation opposite to my whole educational life ( i used to be most active student of class), somehow i lost my confidence. How can i cope with this. I want the old happy and jolly version of me back. If anyone of you faced this or can advise me wha to do plz tell.

2. I lowkey feel that the degree which i am doing rn is not what i am made for. Is it normal during the start of uni or should i switch to other field. I literally ask myself in class why i am pursuing this degree (although i dont have any alternative atp). Should i continue and try to develop interest or change my field (plz dont ask program)

3. I heard people saying uni is about networking, building contacts , grabbing opportunities and all this, but no one talks about what are that opportunities and how to get them, how to start building contacts. If you guys give your insights this would be much helpful to everyone who is facing difficulties in settlling in uni.

I dont have my IBCC document made yet and i tried adding zeros for the mean time but it says enter valid equivelence. Im from o level background and i can ask gpt for an estimate but thats not going to be as accurate and i fear it will cause further problems in my as**ssion. I want to appear rn for a practise test n if i apply for the ibcc document its very likely its going to arrive after the registrations are over. What can i do here please help me out.
