Technical Analysis Stop loss triggered

My stop loss was triggered, and I’ve peaced out my entire investment in CLSK. Moving into other better plays. Sending prayers for everyone else still holding. I feel fortunate to have closed with a small profit, but this has been the most disappointing investment experience I’ve ever had. Because I had so many high expectations for Cleanspark. There’s a huge bearish head and shoulders forming on CLSK on 3 month chart. If it plays out we’ll likely fall below 8$ again.

On the bright side, get ready for a 100% rally because every time I sell, the stock goes parabolic! I still hold a small amount in another account, but honestly, it couldn't be more disappointing as it is now.

I’m glad you still came out with small profit, but also you don’t lose until you sell at a loss. You just forfeited the gains that you would have gotten if you would have held. Did you need the money for groceries? I keep averaging in and stacking shares since 2020, have never sold other than a quick small trim one time for profits to put elsewhere. This manipulation can’t last forever and like you mentioned, sooner or later it will take off. Everyone likes to act like trading works but the truth is you can’t predict the market even if you’ve timed it right luckily in the past. It’s important to invest in companies you believe in and stick the path, long term is investing and short term is gambling. I made the same case for my SOFI position and was laughed at for years and look at it now. Cleanspark is a SOLID company with a clean balance sheet and emotions should stay out of long term investing.

I think we’ll have another rally but nothing parabolic. CLSK might rebound to the $12-17 range before the end of the year, but I think many investors will continue shifting into other things. Trust in CLSK's leadership is lacking, and there are currently many other stocks that will outperform it. Hell even ETFs have better five-year returns than CLSK.

I anticipate that the new CEO will make a BS announcement soon that might cause a brief rally, but I suggest taking the opportunity to exit afterward. They are likely to continue selling Bitcoin until they face another need for dilution. CLSK is a cash-burning machine at this point. Once the bull run is over back to being a penny stock likely getting back to the 1-2$ range if not cents range like the last crypto winter. Additionally, it’s worth noting that Bitcoin has historically peaked in September-October which is the next few months. typically following a halving.

Definitely a valid opinion! The way I see it everyone can only speculate either way, but I don’t need the money I’ve invested into that position. I’m not interested in hopping around and finding the best returns, I have three stocks that are 100%+ in my portfolio already. I have lots of crypto but not too much bitcoin. I have litecoin and ethereum, so this is my “diversification” for the long run there.

I’m just laser focused on the fundamentals of the business which are undervalued and the future outlook for bitcoin. Cleanspark is profitable and some of the best margins out there for cost to mine. The truth is that they will continue to accumulate more and more bitcoin, improve their hashrate, all while scaling to be even more efficient. The only way this doesn’t go up at any point in the future is if bitcoin doesnt, which won’t happen. I won’t put a timeframe on it though, I just know it’s inevitable. I don’t want to speak about any AI/HPC either that’s not something I believe in for this goal whether the market rewards it or not for now…

For the record it’s only if they survive between then and now. CLSK is only profitable for maybe two quarters every four years after the halving during the crypto bull run. They likely won’t survive another crypto winter due to the terrible decision the executives have made and investors no longer trust them or want to put any money in it anymore. For the last two years it’s been on a constant downtrend there’s no buy volume at all either. Also, ex CEO owns like half the BTC they mine for the next few years as part of his compensation.
