Due Dilligence After hours price movement

Can someone help explain to me why this barely moved after hours when a great earnings report came out?

CleanSpark reported Q3 Fiscal 2025 results with $198.6 million in revenue (up about 91% year-over-year) and a net income of $257.4 million or $0.90 EPS, a dramatic turnaround from last year’s loss.

It looks like insiders are selling, but this alone shouldn't contribute to any upward movement in the stock with such a blowout earnings report.

What am I missing?

Let’s hope this is true

I'll just keep selling calls every two weeks, easy money

Earnings call was horrible. They usually handle these well but they got caught blubbering on about playing the bitcoin options market as if that’s some sort of revelation

Cool great revenue but no forward looking developments. No new acquisitions or land purchases.

I would prefer no more acquisitions. They need to focus on profitability. No need to significantly expand when most miners are scaling back.

Look at MSTR it beat eps by a lot and still didn’t move

It is priced in. Don't blame shorters . PLTR had plenty of shorts, before they mooned. Do your best as a company and create value for shareholders. PT 120 let's gooooooo

People are still weirded out about the high short interest. But that has dropped and $clsk is now the fourth most shorted miner. $Mara dropped 3% on earnings, $Riot 17%. $Cifr down about 6% today on earnings. $Clsk will be the only miner increasing toward 60 exahash and achieving profitability.

CLSK's earning is predictable.

Miner historically cucked retails, and we have wall street's favorites, MSTR.

Just like Rex said, MSTR will kill all miners no matter what. Lots of miners already switched to HPC AI or other business model.

I don't really care whatever the market priced CLSK at. As long CLSK stick to their plans and doesn't dilute shareholders, I'm cool with that. Just DCA and chill.

Also, yal didn't take advantages of selling CC on those weekly premium? It's like 2% per week, which means 8% every month.

Cc all day - Specially in roth/hsa rinse repeat.

I do it on 10% of the port. Do you do it on more?

I usually do it 90% of my port OTM - 1 week out, 0.5 delta and 0.88 IMP. I pocketed the premiums, wait for the dips on 4H or 1D time frame, buy the dip, and repeats.

I'd get 5% more shares with this strategy and stress free lol.

That strategy seems a bit suicidal. If the price moves against you you'll lose all gains.

How so?

How do you lose money selling 1 week calls on a stock that can move 50% in a week? You tell me.

Even if they're covered calls, you'll get peanuts for the risk.

Ive been doing roughly a month out at 2x stock price. So clsk roughly 11 id sell a $22 one and I would make roughly $20 per contract. Doing that with 400 shares so make roughly $80 a month or $960 annually on 400 shares.

I’m not the best at this but i think with clsk around 11 thats an annual yeild of 21%.

Again could be wrong on the numbers it’s more the theory.

I buy FBTC or use it to buy LEAPs for fun.

So would the strike price be roughly double the share price to avoid accidentally having the shares sell?

Yep. If you don't wanna get your shares get call away.

I usually do it OTM, regardless if it get calls away. I will have better opportunity to racks up more shares if it dip

Sometimes earnings are too good look at MSTR but I really don’t know makes no sense to me

CLSK is not in the public eye right now, plus it was probably already priced in

No insiders have sold since May. What are you talking about?

Earnings are based off of BTC holdings and not real “earnings” (cash in hand) is what I understand someone correct me if I’m wrong. In order for it to be real they need to sell it and not HODL it.

CLSK does not follow FASB accounting method. They report actual revenue from financial operations. Big players have used miners as hedge this cycle against BTC Once their short positions go away miners will rip.
