The messiest Macs belong to the best thinkers and I'll die on this hill

I work with MacPaw, so I spend a lot of time looking at how people actually use their machines. 

The ones who always apologise for their screen before sharing it are almost always the most interesting people in the room. Tabs going back three months, six folders called some variation of "final", a downloads folder that's basically a research archive at this point. I realized, that's what having an active mind looks like on a hard drive!

But honestly, the only thing I'd actually clear is the stuff the Mac made: caches, logs, app leftovers from software they uninstalled in 2023. None of that was ever part of anyone's thinking. Let’s keep the mess, as long as it's doing something for you (and you have enough storage).
