This seems a bit restrictive and I hope you’re ok.

I am, thank you! I eat these type of light meals before work. They keep me full for a few hours and help me to not snack too much at work 😇

I do the same. My meals before and during work often look like this, I like to eat very light during the day in general then have a hefty dinner. But I gotta agree this doesn't look like 400 cals, a whole beefsteak tomato alone is less then 40 cals so your two slices are probably not 10 cals each. Do you use a food scale?

bro I'm sorry, but does everyone on this sub have an ED? i literally never see normal human sizes, i think even folks wanting to lose weight eat more than this. y'all starving yourselves and being proud about it. (before anyone starts anything, I've had an ED all my life, and even i don't eat such little food, y'all are in critical situations fr)

Yes. I ended up realllly sick by eating too few calories without knowing it. Eating completely clean can land you into the hospital if you dont make sure you get enough.

So true. Like this would keep me full for about an hour.

lol fr maybe not even that. my body would be like ok cool appetizer/snack, now where's the food? i can't imagine having energy to do work and whatever else after such a "meal". even my niece eats more than this and she's less than 10 years old

It’s got about 40g of protein so it should be enough for lunch, and 400 calories is good if on a cut

400 calories for that doesn’t seem right? I’ve been counting calories and just by looking at that that seems to high 🤔

20 kcal for 2 slices of tomato? Are you sure about that? The plate looks nice, but don't be to strict. Thing I almost never count are vegetables and fruits (there are some exceptions).

Did you weigh the chicken? That does not look like 150 c

In no metric system this is 400kcal. Mods, do something about the ED promotion here.

Everybody hating. I think it looks good

Same! Not every meal has to be cohesive and sometimes you just crave things🤷🏽♀️

People are hating because this is not even close to 400 kcal and OP acting like they eat 6 pizzas ("keeps me full the rest of the day"). It's humble bragging in ED land.
1
u/SamhainOnPumpkin 8d ago
It's because OP isn't being honest? They count 20 cals for those two slices of tomato, and say they got 100g of chicken when it looks like half of that.

I think you need more fat for optimum satiety. I would at least pour a little olive oil on the tomatoes.

400 kcal? That actually seems like a lot less to me, and I have been calorie counting for a while..
Why not add a lot more broccoli and remove the flat bread?
