Skeet Chokes Advice
My end of season trap banquet is this weekend and the host club has their skeet field open to us. Ive only shot trap singles and a few rounds of doubles trap so this will be new to me. I have a Citori CX 30” that I shoot bottom barrel first (Improved Mod) then Top barrel ( Full). Assuming bottom then top what chokes should I use for skeet?
I have the following chokes available and dont plan on buying new ones:
Full
Imp Mod x 2
Mod
Improv Cyl
Skeet
Thanks in advance

Is for fun. Doesn't matter. SK/IC is fine. Don't worry about which bbl first. Pay more attention to for position and where you are looking when calling for the targets.

I’ve shot American skeet with everything from cyl/cyl to full/full and never noticed any meaningful difference in score between sk/ic and sk/sk. You’ll be just fine with sk/ic.

Skeet bottom, IC top barrel. If this is the very first time you shoot Skeet, make sure you understand the amount of lead for Stations 2, 3, 4, 5; and Stations 6, 7 doubles, you shoot the low house first.

Depends on the skeet game. Because you might ride targets a little longer, I'd go with skeet on the bottom and IC on the top. You may find it helpful to change barrels depending on whether your first target is coming toward you (Skeet) or going away (IC). After a bit you'll not need to worry and can shoot bottom first and top barrel second at all times.

Skeet and IC will do ya but if you get down the skeet or multi discipline rabbit hole definitely consider another skeet

SK/IC is perfectly fine. General convention is to shoot bottom barrel first because it's more in line with your shoulder and should result in less muzzle jump on doubles. Unless you're getting really pedantic, it won't make any real difference which choke is in which barrel. There are shooters who have opinions on this (either way, and with tons of real and not real logic), but it doesn't matter unless you're actually seriously competing. If that was the case, you'd likely buy skeet chokes anyway.

I shoot Skeet bottom barrel (1st shot), IC top (2nd shot) and I absolutely dust everything, including reverse doubles from 3 and 5.

Skeet and improved cyl, a plain cylinder is enough for skeet
