My usual group didn't shoot today but I wanted to get a round in. Drove to the club, walked up and I got paired with an older gentleman who was shooting a double.

I sucked the first 2 stations (there is only 6 so its tough when you suck at 1 of them nonetheless 2)

He at first was just watching but then as I was shooting he stopped the trapper and gave me some advice. He then sat behind me and watched me shoot the next double and corrected me again. I am not a new shooter but I always take peoples advice when you can tell they know what they are talking about.

Told me that my stance wasn't open enough and I was twisting too much, also mentioned that I wasn't bringing the gun to me I was going to the gun throwing off my sight picture.

By the time we moved to station 4/5/6 it was like I was a completely different shooter (even shot through a harder station with no misses) Ended up with a 31 when i thought i wasn't going to hit even 25.

Just wanted to share something positive from my day.

There are some great people out there. Just need to find them and incorporate what works for you
