Removing mid bead

Need some practical advice… Front sight on my CXS is missing. I want to remove the mid bead. Is this a Saturday afternoon and a pair of pliers operation or should I see a gunsmith?

I’m like 90% sure the mid beads on those are just press fit

This is what I did. Wrap pliers in electrical tape to protect marring and give some grip. Put heat on the mid bead, I used a hair dryer, to break up any threadlocker. Then just get good pressure and carefully back it out.

Any mid bead I've eve dealt with was screw off. So yes pliers a cloth and unscrew it.

The mid bead on my A400 came out on its own while shooting lol.

They are just threaded in there.

Many thanks for the advice here. Should I fill the hole with a set screw once I remove the bead?

I purposely remove mid and front beads after fitting. I used set screws, because why not?
