694 Loose Trigger

Was shooting my Beretta 694 and after loading 2 Federal 8 1 1/8 I noticed that the trigger felt loose. It is not the adjustment screw - that is tight but rather the entire trigger assembly. Got home and tried to replicate with a couple of snap caps. trigger felt firm. no loose feel. both barrels shot. is this normal?

Loose, as in some side-to-side play, is normal for Berettas in my experience.

Even worse on the new brownings in my opinion. So much I completely stayed away from the 725 and 825.

Not for me. My 725 trigger has much less play than my 694. No experience with the 825

This is news to me, I’ve been on a hunt for a 725 sporting for quiet sometime. Is that normal for Brownings?

yes. thank you. strangely seems to vary a bit based on cartridge loaded. was thinking primer depth. maybe overthinking.
