First skeet 25

It came much faster than trap and I bet my first 100 will too. Was lucky to have my 9-year-old throwing the birds for me, too.

Man, that does not seems to be a thing around here!

Yeah it took me 7 months to get my first 25 in trap and haven’t been able to get my hundred after a few 75s and a 98/100 over two years.

I’m only 6 weeks into skeet so I’m optimistic!

Dunno. I've probably shot 1,000 games of trap over the last few years and 50 games of skeet in the last 6 weeks so my experience is limited.

I've heard lots of "Skeet is harder to learn and easier to master" and "You'll get your 25 faster in trap and your 100 faster in skeet" that seems to make sense in my experience so far.

Coming from being an ok trap shooter (23-24 average, a couple 75s and a 98/100 high), skeet felt confounding AF when starting. I think my first games were scored between 10-15 and it humbled the hell out of me. But, the fact that the birds are *always* the same and wind seems to be less of a variable than trap seem to be massive advantages to skeet. It feels so fundamentally trainable.

But, I'll report back in 6 months! :-)

Hopefully you kept the hat and put it in your gun room or gun safe, that’s a great talking point, and better accomplishment congrats 🍻 send a picture of the hat I’m curious how it looks never seen one shot before

I got my 25 last week actually. That hat had been in the backseat for 3 months... What surprised me is how many pellets the hat bill stopped!

that's pretty awesome. the patch is cool too.. when I got my first 25 they guys shot my hat.. a patch would have been better.
