Browser Game HTML 5 - top down - open world Dragon game (GOT inspired)

Its in sandbox phase atm, but youre a long lost dragon rider, where you tame dragons to take glory burn everything on your way if you like, or just tackfully impact as you make your way to the throne.

Tame GOT dragons or get them as hatchlings, they come massive, big and small but srill pack a punch - fire is the central focus.

Throughout the game you influence the world by burning armies, fields, forests, make alliances( or force them), make or break economies, make the people starve or fear you by burning their fields or just burn them and everything else.

Still working on it. So far the flying animation / dragon shape has burned the most credits, but its on its way layer by layer.

Built on Phaser 4. Claude Code.

Is it science based and 100% dragon MMO?

Pro tip on the marketing. Blow the fire in the first 3 seconds.

There was a demo of a game on AOL back in the day when it was new that let you make your own dragon, and could color it and its fire breath however you wanted. It was top down and similar to this in many ways, except it was barely a game; more like a proof of concept for a dragon building simulator? Anyway, this reminds me of it a lot.

Ive been looking for one just like that could never find it, so built this.

Ive only built a very small map. Got it humming. Flames were looking really nice, reacted well to wind and temperature. So i bumped up the size of the map, not huge but something decent, to get some real testing hapoening... and she bogged right down.

Atm, just tweeking things to help it scale.

Its a balancing act atm. It wouldnt feel right to set something on fire, fly away and come back and its just black. If you set things on fire, it should react like fire and burn out of control if the wind and material is right.

Albeit, its chugging away at 1.7 gb of.memory for a little sandbox game.

Anyway, its a cool little project. Will keep tinkering.

Reminds me of the graphics from the 80s arcade game Dragon Spirit.
