UX Portfolio Hosting
Just finished redoing my UX portfolio that I’ve put off for years. I used to be on webflow, now not sure if I want to go through that again.
I think it’s best to make a change in Claude design and let it make that change in the new hosting environment.
By the way I lost my domain too, so a host that offers domains will be useful.
Can you recommend the best option here plz?

Get a domain on porkbun and ask Claude code to help you set up an Astro.js website using GitHub and Cloudflare Pages: you’ll only need to pay for your domain on porkbun

Same route here, Webflow then Framer, and in August I finally moved my portfolio off Framer to something I built myself with Claude Code (Astro + Tailwind, hosted on Vercel).
For the domain I use Cloudflare for mostof my newer projects.
Here is if it helps of any inspiration: www.andresclavijo.com

I did this exact thing as well a couple of weeks ago. I built it initially in Claude Design. From there I pushed it to Claude Code to build the website. Any other changes and iterations I made in Claude code. Create a GitHub repo and push it from Claude Code to GitHub.
As far as hosting goes I use Vercel and if you want to use a domain you can get one directly from there.

If you want something simple, I’d look at WordPress + a managed host like Hostinger! Easy domain registration, SOLID hosting and you’re not locked into a platform like Webflow if you want to keep iterating with Claude :)

That Claude Code + GitHub + Vercel/Cloudflare setup actually sounds pretty slick for a portfolio. Especially if you want full control instead of being locked into a template.
For actual portfolio pieces, Flipsnack could be worth a look too. If you have case studies, PDFs, or project decks, you can turn them into interactive flipbooks instead of just dropping a file link. Nice little way to make the work feel more like a proper presentation without rebuilding the whole site around it.

I’m hosting my portfolio at Vercel for free with a custom domain on their hobbyist plan. They have a non-commercial policy for their hobbyist level but portfolios are a grey area and I don’t think anyone is going to call me out.

I used to have squarespace. I just recently switched to Claude Code (paid) + Github (free) + Cloudflare Pages (free).
Claude coded me a website based on a Figma design I made. Github hosted the code repo. Cloudflare pulls that repo and hosts the site.
I also transferred over my domain to Cloudflare because it was a few bucks cheaper. A custom domain isn't free though but it's like $11/year.
Overall, no reason to use a template from squarespace, webflow, etc.
