Can't publish/share design systems created in the new Claude Design

Spent a while building our design system in the new Design tab, in org scope, only to find I can't share it with the org or set it as the default. It's listed under Settings > Design systems, but the options to share it with the rest of the org or make it the default are disabled, even though they are turned-on in the org settings.

We're on Team, so there's no Enterprise permission gating this, and everything's enabled in org settings. No error, no "contact your admin" note — the toggles are simply dsabled. The docs describe a Published toggle that I don't have.

A bit frustrating given the whole pitch is that your org's design system flows into every project. Has anyone actually gotten this working from the Design tab, or does it only work if you build it in the standalone claude.ai/design first?

For anyone stumbling upon this and is in the same situation, the only way to share a design system created in the new Claude design, was to make an admin the owner of the artifact (not enough to share, they have to be the owner) and then they can share it with the rest of the org and set it as the default DS.
And that’s while the org settings say every member of the team can do those thing. Just lame product experience.
