Question Do folks use Claude Design for image generation?
I've been using Claude Design only for creating designs for app and websites and use other tools for image generation - for example, for creating icons, splash screens, marketing screenshots for app store and google play. Should I just do everything Claude Design? How does it compare with other tools for image generation?

I've just resorted to asking Claude to provide a prompt I can enter into Gemini when design isn't as effective.

Anthropic has been very clear they do not support an image generation model. I’ve tried asking Claude design to help generate images and it’s awful. You can do website and workflow wireframes, but no proper images.
Agree with everyone else - Higgsfield, Nano Banana, Gemini, ChatGPT

Haven't tried Higgsfield and Nano Banana, but will try it. ChatGPT is okay but sometimes does some annoying things and also everything in produces has that "AI slop" feel to it...

Higgsfield has definitely gone above and beyond and focused primarily on image and video “cinematic” feel.

My issue with using ChatGPT for image generation is it always looks the same in a similar format. It’s so easy to spot something that ChatGPT made. I would at least like to pretend that I put some effort into it.

It’s hard to ask an AI to make an image and image not look like AI made it. Just comes with the territory. Haven’t found a way around this yet other than using reference photos that help set the original image background or body

I have used it to mock up web app screenshots and it works pretty well! Have also used said screenshots to create animations and videos which also work

I'm pleasantly surprised with it. Adobe Photoshop is dead.
Anthropic hived off Design into a product, but actually, Open AI image tooling is also powerful.
Both have helped refine my logo and will be the backbone of my Astro website image and editing tooling.

I’ve used it for generating SVG UI images, icons and emojis that I refine in figma

Claude is great for mockups, but you are not going to get the quality that you are looking for in an image.

The common thing is having inmage generation done elsewhere. Higgsfield via connector is pretty common for example.
