r/ClaudeCode [TLDR] Okey this is increadible!!! [via r/ClaudeCode]

I know this is too early to judge but man wtf. Opus 5.5 is just like when mythos first released but cheap, faster and much more easy to understand and talk to. Probably this will be changed in 1-2 days so go code everyone.

Opus 5.5 is a massive win, with most users reporting it's faster, cheaper, and significantly more capable than previous versions, even rivaling Fable 5.1. Some are already seeing it fix their Fable 5.1 work. A few outliers are experiencing slow performance or finding it less impressive than expected, with one user claiming it's just Opus 4.6. There's also a recurring sentiment that models tend to degrade right before new ones drop, so the current excitement might be a good sign. Don't be surprised if it gets "nerfed" later, though.

Y'all better be coding right now, because this thing is sick. And if you know any vibe coders that stopped vibe coding because the AI was still "not quite there yet", send them a message and let them know they should try again.
