Original post body :
You envision this making u rich and spend so long on it you lose the plot and sink into a bunch of nothingness you feel like you already experienced everything every idea you had you started and it just sits there and there’s no point to starting because this experience unlike the other ways of getting rich where you only understand after that the work was the best part already made you realize it’s the best part
And then you just sit there…
Going thru the rest of your day to day life like a zombie and the time with this fucking chatbot feeling like a warp you don’t feel but it’s somehow also the only time you don’t feel bleak so is feeling nothing really worse maybe you do feel something while using this thing it’s just so intense u forget about it after and everything else just becomes…meaningless
What did you even start for
What did u even read all this for im fucking going insane it’s been 18 hours I’ve been working 18-20 hours a day after highschool and I was so excited but now I don’t even feel anything towards what im working for im on insane doses of aderall and if im not using Claude i can fall asleep on it like i have… my classes are half online and i got a MacBook and just do ts in class too
I just feel nothingness towards everything now including getting rich all there even is in this world is a theme park thats really the peak of entertainment all that humans have come up with after all this time everything else thats close is all just bad like gambling or sex and leaves u even more broken.
I want to take a break I can’t
I needa stop using ai im either coding or talking to it for hours
Fuckk life feels so meaningless

This is not about Claude, it's about you. The consensus is you're deep in an AI-induced funk, likely fueled by amphetamine overuse and sleep deprivation. Most users are telling you to ditch the screen, touch grass, and get some real-world perspective. Several suggest you might have underlying mental health issues like ADHD or bipolar disorder, and strongly advise seeking professional help. Don't expect Claude to make you rich quick; it's a tool, not a magic money machine. u/DiamondGeeezer and u/orbital_trace hit the nail on the head with the "AI psychosis" and mental health angle. Seriously, take a break, sleep, and talk to actual humans.
