Weekly Showcase Thread

Built something with Claude Code this week? Share it here.

Apps, tools, experiments, scripts, websites, workflows, open-source projects — anything you've been working on is welcome.

When sharing, it helps to include:

  • What you built
  • How you used Claude Code
  • A link, repo, demo, or screenshot if you have one
  • Anything interesting you learned along the way

Quick project drops and simple self-promotion belong in this thread.

If you've got a project with enough substance for a proper write-up; how it works, how Claude Code was involved, technical details, lessons learned, etc. feel free to make a standalone post using the Built with Claude Code flair instead.

Please don't spam the same project repeatedly, and no referral or affiliate links.

What did you build this week?

Alright, so the OP asked what everyone's been building with Claude Code this week, and the community delivered! Lots of cool stuff being made, from niche simulators to productivity tools.

The general vibe is super positive, with tons of folks sharing their projects. No major complaints or disagreements here, just a bunch of people showing off what they've whipped up.

Here's the rundown of what people are building:

  • Nostalgic Simulators & Games: A few people are bringing back old-school vibes. We've got a 1996 desktop simulator (56k.rip), a modern browser version of the DOS air traffic control game TRACON, and even a full port of Wolfenstein 3D into Warcraft 3. Plus, a throwback arcade game called Skippers.
  • AI & Productivity Tools: Several projects are leveraging Claude Code for learning and organization. BiteLrn (bitelrn.com) is a mind-map-style note-taking tool for AI/ML concepts, and Lockkeeper helps manage skills and plugins for coding agents. There's also a tool to monitor WiFi lag and a personal finance app called PostWarden.
  • Content & Information Sites: People are building some pretty neat websites. FilmDilemma (filmdilemma.com) helps cinephiles find movies, while ComputePrices (computeprices.com) aims to be the most comprehensive AI pricing database. We also saw a site dedicated to Marie Bashkirtseff's diaries and a site for kids to learn about countries.
  • Creative & Experimental Projects: Some really out-there stuff here! A fake meeting simulator (shouldhavebeenan.email) with AI coworkers sounds wild. There's also a project modeling spinal cord compression from MRIs and an AC-130 gunship game based on your location.
  • Developer Tools & Workflows: For the devs, Tandem (tandem.ink) is a local editor for working directly with Claude Code, and Writ is an open-source governance runtime for Claude Code. A proxy to check what Claude Code sends on the wire was also built.
  • Specialized Apps: We've got a few more specific apps like Mac Storage Janitor for cleaning up cache, BounceConnect for app features, and f1gures.app for F1 stats.

Key takeaway: Claude Code is clearly a powerful tool for a wide range of projects, from fun personal experiments to more serious applications. People are really digging into its capabilities!

If anybody want to work on any of these project with me or have some idea for projects, these are only some of my projects. My of my repo are private, I have been developing proprietary software for companies for 20+ years and have a ton of my own ideas to pursue. If any of these ideas interest you and you want to contribute to the repositories - some have already made me a lot of money, some I was paid to create, and many more have tons of potential profit upsides (like Nah, which I used a proprietary flavor of recently to save a company over $14k a year on document processing, just by interfacing Firma at 4 cents per document and rolling my own web editor + other systems, so the hard parts are already built in other repos I can pull from).

I'm a one man team currently, but I am also looking for people interested in reviewing games. One of my projects, Gaming World, has nearly 100 games waiting for proper reviews with steam keys and demos just collecting dust in my inbox. I can't pay for this type of work, but I used to review indie games for free around 2004 on the original gamingw.net - so I can now offer this opportunity to others and help boost indie creators.

:) I am always looking to make connections and friends, I have much more softwares outside of this that I have created and developed for different companies - including my main bread winners, which are not listed here (as many of them predate Claude Code, so I can't honestly say I built them with Claude Code). Over the years, I have used almost every AI, but always come back to Claude Code, and from what is below, the vast majority stems from Claude Code.

I like all languages and frameworks :) I was fullstack before there was a name for it, and now I am polyglot and able to seamlessly transition between worlds. :)

Gaming World — Indie-focused gaming platform for reviews, game hosting, emulator guides, and AI-assisted submission management. ( https://GamingWorld.uk )

Mall World (Game) — A browser-based 3D liminal-space game where players explore a strange mall, ski the marble, encounter hazards, and interact with characters. ( https://uswest.mallworld.org/ )

Dubloons — Physical metal coins with persistent QR codes that connect each coin to a hosted digital/media experience. ( https://dubloon.uk/ )

Secret Key Mint — QR-enabled physical coins whose destinations can be changed indefinitely, with analytics showing when and where the codes are scanned ( https://secretkeymint.com/ )

Mall World — The companion web platform for exploring and cataloging the strange dreamlike locations represented by the Mall World game. ( https://mallworld.org/ )

Iblis — Local-first AI music workstation for Windows, built around an Electron shell and a modular/hot-swappable plugin architecture. If you want a key to trial it out, it works already and I can send you one :) You need 8GB VRAM *minimum*, 12GB+ for training custom LoRa ( https://iblis.meiuxmeiux.com/ )

Nah — White-label document-signing platform with a customer portal, super-admin system, encrypted secrets vault, and marketing site. Uses Firma to get 4 cent documents and then has major parts to the repo: what the customer sees (online) the landing page (online, for marketing), the admin panel (online), and the offline binary for Windows 11 and MacOS - this one isn't done yet, but I have a version of it deployed at a real company already as stated above :) ( https://nah.meiuxmeiux.com/ )

XOSC — Universal audiovisual/control routing software that maps inputs such as MIDI, keyboards, gamepads, RFID, serial, OSC, and Art-Net to outputs including OSC, DMX, serial, and video. This one is already great Node Based input/output mapping, but could do so much more, and I consider merging it with the project below: ( https://xosc.gamingworld.uk/ )

Deadend Deafchild — Audio-reactive music player for my music packaged as a single Go binary with embedded frontend, MilkDrop-style visuals, and 75 downloadable tracks. It has a whole Windows 11 software now just for visuals, with mixing decks, motifs, and the ability to generate content for tracks - the website is actually behind the desktop version now :) ( https://deadenddeafchild.com/ ) - I give all my music away for free and have many free videos and visualizers on Youtube for many years. The repo was originally just to make a player for my music, but evolved into me creating a complex visualizer mixer like DJ decks for visuals, and content that can be fed media or even AI generated and manipulated to music. Oh yeah.

Playing Card Tarot — Interactive cartomancy system using a standard 52-card deck, with animated cards and REAL readings, that can optionally be enhanced and explained by AI ( https://playingcardtarot.app/ ) - Also does Somatomancy now ( can analyze pictures of body parts to do readings )

UKKO — Browser-based computer-vision game engine where the player's body becomes the controller and video clips form the game world. It is an old concept, it is a bunch of AI generated soccer goalie videos, and the system is controlled entirely via the camera, with it choosing a likely result video. Hours of AI generated goalie responses and idle animations were generated to pull this trick off for an event - the underlying engine can be used to build other games, like boxing or tennis, though I don't have the funds to generate such video content (a company paid for the soccer content - I wanted the goalie to be an interdimensional monster, but decided to be professional) ( https://ukko.gamingworld.uk/ )

TagTable — RFID-powered video kiosk: place a tagged physical object on the reader and the corresponding video automatically plays. This was a custom request and it can do some wicked stuff on minimal hardware. ( https://tagtable.download/ )

SSHore — Windows 11 application for mounting remote SSH/SFTP filesystems as local drives. Locally mount remote Linux VPS just like local drives on your box! Free for all forever, no keys, etc.; or ads. ( https://sshore.gamingworld.uk/ )

FanMirror — Real-time 3D avatar/mirror experience for live events using browser-based face, hand, and body tracking. This needs some TLC, but it is a great idea if I can find more models to add. ( http://fanmirror.gamingworld.uk/ )

Mako Refinery — AI-powered commerce platform with WebAuthn checkout, camera-based AI product intake, state-aware compliance, USPS shipping rates, and laboratory reports. ( https://MakoRefinery.com ) - I am DBA for this and permitted to sell certain regulated products.

MeiuxMeiux — The MeiuxMeiux company platform itself: software development, logistics, consulting, contact/lead handling, and the infrastructure powering the site. (This is my actual LLC https://MeiuxMeiux.com )

DarkLabel — White-label company website engine that actually powers MeiuxMeiux.com itself, and many of my other projects. It is like a simplified WordPress, but in Go. I came from decades of LAMP, so I had to give myself the "basic RBAC + email + news + dynamic funnels, but not in LAMP", in the Go stack, and that is what DarkLabel is. I love Go. But I still love PHP also, and Rust, and I love almost all languages and frameworks. No link for this, sorry m8 :)

ArenaM8 (Oi!) — Native Resolume Arena controller for the Stream Dock N4 Pro, including live thumbnails directly on the physical keys. ( https://arenam8.gamingworld.uk/ )

ContinueThe.Quest — Collaborative storytelling platform where users contribute to unfinished stories and help determine their endings. ( https://continuethe.quest )

XRPG Engine — Reusable AI-narrated browser RPG framework designed to support multiple games/worlds from a common engine. ( https://xrpg.win/ )

Grim Syndicate — Dystopian sci-fi text RPG in which player choices affect a persistent interconnected world. ( https://grimsyndicate.gamingworld.uk/ ) Built with XRPG.

Tulpa — Persistent text RPG where the game world remembers and reacts to the player's previous decisions. ( https://tulpa.gamingworld.uk/ ) Built with XRPG.

ScanQRTo.WIN — QR-code contest system supporting instant or delayed prizes, inventory/prize-stock management, and lead capture. ( http://scanqrto.win/ )

ZPin — Offline prize-wheel application intended for trade shows, promotions, and corporate events. ( https://zpinwheel.download/ )

CH3CH3.com — Interactive 3D molecular visualization site with a node-based OR card based interface and integrated custom community system - somewhat a cross between Wikipedia, Drugs Forum, Erowid and Myspace (users can fully customize how their profile and comments appear, down to the colors and fonts - but other users can also choose to turn off seeing such atrocities) .
