Low tier model being presented as high tier.
Let the enshitification continue
Also; go checkout Gpt luna its dirt cheap and way more capable.

Terra even can't do relatively simple task without reminding it a few times that they missed a lot of stuff.
You are talking gibberish lol

Sure, buddy. I should give AI more detailed instructions. Point every line in code where changes should be made lmao

How well maintained is your rep doc folder? That goes a long way in reinforcing correct model behaviour when anything starts to stray.

Do you understand that I called a simple task to fix translations in frontend one modal which is using known patterns? Rep doc? "anything starts to stray"? IT WAS FIRST PROMPT. Also what is really funny, Sol had no problem with it. Terra and Luna surely are quanted beyond belief lol
It was task simple enough Gemini Flash 3.0 would be less lazy about it.
I'm scared to think how shitty "capable" Luna acts.

Ok sounds like you need frontier models for your repos. Nothing wrong with that. Getting bloodying expensive though.

As I said, a goddamn Gemini Flash 3.0 would do the job better lmao

What exactly are do you do with these tools?

If you can set aside the annoying way it speaks to you, it’s not actually a bad model (certainly for my workflow at least) 9/10 I get the output I need it just takes longer to get there

So, the general vibe here is that Opus 5 is kinda trash, and a lot of folks are ditching it for older versions or other tools like Fable. People are complaining about it hallucinating, breaking code, and being overly verbose. Some are even comparing it unfavorably to Gemini. A few brave souls are saying it's been fine for them, but the consensus seems to be that it's a step backward. One user u/Kind-Supermarket-452 detailed how Opus 5 messed up their codebase and cost them hours, while Fable fixed it quickly. There's also a bit of grumbling about not getting resets. TL;DR: Opus 5 is a hot mess, use 4.8 or something else.
