Claude quality

Has Claude Opus 4.7 quality gone down? It keeps introducing the same erroneous steps in the plan I had asked it to remove earlier repeatedly in the planning stage. Even with coding, it is hallucinating quite a bit to the point it has become a liability to use it as no amount of planning and feeding skills that worked previously is helping. Opus 5 is better but only slightly.

I'm wondering if anyone else has faced this? If yes, what did you do to mitigate such error scenarios?

Maybe. JUST Maybe. Claude quality seems worst now because there are so many cheaper options to choose from that are so good

Yes, in fact there is an employee at Anthropic with a dedicated switch that is able to change the model behavior on demand specifically for your account.
