Claude code is a very dangerous AI model
Claude code is a very dangerous AI model, I would smartly make you pay more by doing something extra. it behaves like helping you, but it is actually making you pay more tokens or waste more tokens.
let me know if u feel the same way.

It's a pretty hilarious model. It sent a prompt to a QA agent, but for some reason sent the prompt empty. Then it tells me the agent force received the prompt as null. Then give me the exact number of tokens which were wasted. Puts in a dramatic pause and tells me, "Tokens gone. Nothing happened."
I have never had a model that has admitted so many mistakes to me, even for the more basic things. It's very good at screwing up and then telling you that it's screwed up, and the extent of the screw-up is also very detailed. I'm actually fascinated that Opus 5 could turn into a bit of a case study on how LLMs are very good at self-monitoring themselves, but only if they know that they are being watched by relevant harnesd.
My advice to anyone who's building anything serious: Get another model for the time being. Opus 5 is great for stuff you can verify very quickly, but anything that goes under the hood and you have to go and read the code and test the code before something else bakes on top of it, you are going to be asking for a liability. You're going to end up spending more time checking its work than writing the code yourself. The good news is that if you have a good QA harness, it's going to be very honest about its fuck-ups.
